Day 1

Made a rolling square. Haven't figured out what the finished game will look like yet. The idea was to make a simulator of a polar station worker who searches for other expedition members in his all-terrain vehicle after a snowstorm

Day 2

Today I got the idea to play around with the camera angle to make an effect for mode 7, but ended up going a slightly different route and started playing with the superposition of flat figures in space with a flat render, and ended up accidentally getting a car and a burger tower

Day 3

Due to my main job, I didn't manage to do almost anything. Also, due to the time zone, I miscalculated the deadlines and thought that I only had Thursday left for work and wouldn't be able to hand in the game on Friday.

Rethought the idea of the game, as I could not devote enough time to development for the game jam.

The player now controls death, which collects restless souls in a place where endless winter now reigns

Day 4

Made the main mechanics with fuel and selection of people, added their lines. Added conditions of victory and defeat. Added decorations.

The worst thing was waiting for me before assembling for the browser. The localization module in the web build did not want to assemble correctly. After several hours spent on setting up all the Unity packages, I was about to give up and go rewrite the localization from scratch. But in the end I managed to launch the standard module in the browser and now the game has appeared on itch

Day 5

I am writing this devlog. I might have time to add a couple of small details during the day, balance the fuel consumption a little
